The application deadline for TBAT’s Innovation Challenge 2023 has been extended. Applicants now have until 31 August 2023 to submit their business plan or pitch deck to enter this year’s Challenge.
Forresters are proud supporters of The Innovation Challenge, having recently sponsored the Challenge’s third workshop, “Product Development & Protection – How to design and protect your innovation.”
Partner Dr Jagvir Purewal and Senior Associate Greg Smith gave delegates an overview of their IP rights, including how to secure patents, the functions of registered trade marks and designs, and how to identify opportunities to utilise IP.
The goal of The Innovation Challenge is to stimulate and support innovation in SMEs by leveraging the expertise of a range of supporting partner organisations.
Qualifying businesses are invited to submit a full business plan or pitch deck to be in with a change of winning a £5,000 cash prize and tailored support packages from partners involved, including IP support from Forresters. Two runners up will also receive a support package.
Forresters look forward to 11 October, when the top ten finalists will be invited to pitch at the Finalist Showcase at the Hilton East Midlands Airport Hotel to an audience of TBAT partner organisations, investors and their wider networks.
