Forresters celebrates exam successes

Posted:

Forresters is pleased to congratulate a number of our colleagues on recent exam successes. We recently received confirmation that several of our trainee patent attorneys had successfully passed exams, as part of their training to become fully-qualified.

In our London office, Timothy Bone and Elliot Farrell have passed their first set of UK Foundation examinations, while in Birmingham, Callum Watson passed his International Patent Law exam, and Riddhi Patel passed her English Law and International Patent Law exams.

Lianne Da-Cunha, Josh Gay, Beatrice Malacart, Hester Sheehan and Thomas Heath have successfully passed all their UK Foundation exams, to become part-qualified UK patent attorneys.

There was also cause for celebration in our Munich office, where Niama Knapp passed three of her Foundation exams, with Katarina Stefkova passing her Design and Copyright Law exam.

At the UK finals level, congratulations are also in order for two trainees in our London office: Matthew Holt, who passed his Advanced IP Law and Practice Exam, and Lara Weaver, who took and passed the Advanced IP Law and Practice and Amendment of Specifications exams.

The good set of results was well-received by our Managing Partner Matt Shaw, who said:

“On behalf of all of us at Forresters, I’d like to extend well-deserved congratulations to all of our trainees on a great set of exam results. Helping to train the next generation of our patent attorneys is not a responsibility we take lightly, and the dedication and commitment shown by all our trainees is something we’re very proud of.”
