Forresters ranked as a Recommended Firm by World IP Review

Published:

Forresters is pleased to announce we have been ranked as a recommended firm in contentious and non-contentious UK trade mark work by World IP Review.

The firm was described in WIPR’s rankings as a „trusted agent for UK and international trademark work,“ as well as „a worthy opponent in litigation.“

In addition, Partner Steven Wake has been ranked as a Recommended individual. In their summary, WIPR said of Steven:

Wake specialises in all aspects of UK and international trademark law and practice, and has succeeded in securing registration of seemingly unregistrable marks as well as preventing infringement in David versus Goliath situations.

Other members of Forresters‘ trade marks team were mentioned in the summary, including Partner Kate Cruse and Managing Partner Matt Shaw.

Other notable members of the team include Liverpool partner Kate Cruse who, as one peer notes, „thinks outside the box“. She advises clients worldwide on their trademark filing strategies as well as excelling at contentious work. Also noteworthy is managing partner Matthew Shaw, who draws on his technical expertise as a patent attorney in his trademark practice and uses an analytical approach to understand clients’ brands.

The recently-published 2025 rankings are based on evidence submitted by ranked firms and testimonials from clients and peers.
