Claudia joined Forresters in June 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience. She has worked in both in-house roles and in large, international law firms in Munich.

Work Highlights

Claudia is highly experienced in patent prosecution and drafting applications, especially German patent prosecution. She also has experience in opposition and appeal proceedings.

Technical Specialism

Her technical background is in Chemistry, primarily focused on inorganic chemistry.  In particular, she has a firm understanding of and experience in working on polymer chemistry, alloys, batteries, and rubber compositions.

Education & Training

Claudia holds a Bachelor of Chemistry and Biology, and a master’s in chemistry with a focus on inorganic and analytical chemistry from the Technical University of Munich. She then continued her studies to earn a PhD again from the Technical University of Munich, focused on inorganic chemistry, particularly organometallic chemistry. During her studies, she completed an industrial placement at Clariant and an internship in Saudi Arabia.

She works for a wide range of clients, including large international companies, as well as German-based firms. She also has experience in the Japanese market and enjoys the variety of topics and cases that these clients present.

Personal Interests

Claudia enjoys travelling, nature walks and spending time at the lakes near Munich. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends.
