I assist companies, inventors and designers in protecting their IP in the UK, Europe and all around the world. I am experienced in drafting and prosecuting patent and registered design applications to protect a wide variety of products and technologies.
I graduated with a Masters degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol. After my studies, I joined Forresters in 2003 where I qualified as a UK and European patent attorney.
My work involves securing patent protection for electro-mechanical inventions and computer software. I have extensive experience in protecting inventions in areas such as consumer devices, data storage and processing, artificial intelligence, automotive, bicycle technologies, medical devices, and clean/green energy.
I also relish the challenge of securing broad registered design protection for all manner of different designs, from homewares to bicycle components.
I particularly enjoy my work when I am involved at the early stage of a product’s development and seeing the product evolve with the proper IP protection in place.
I am married with two children who keep me busy. When I find some spare time at home, I enjoy cycling (real and virtual), sourdough baking and trying to master the art of handmade pizza.
