Dr Rosalie Shepherd
Senior Associate
Rosalie began training as a patent attorney with Forresters in 2017, and became a Senior Associate in 2023.
Rosalie enjoys all aspects of patent prosecution and regularly works on UK, European and international patent applications covering a wide range of technical fields.
Since joining Forresters, Rosalie has drafted a large number of patent applications. Rosalie particularly enjoys discussing new ideas with inventors and determining the novel and inventive aspects of an idea.
With a background in chemistry, Rosalie primarily works with clients in this sector. Rosalie regularly works on patent applications relating to food technology, carbon capture and mineral compositions.
The clients Rosalie works with range from SMEs to large global companies. Rosalie finds it particularly interesting understanding how companies of different sizes manage their patent portfolios.
Rosalie is a keen horse rider and can be found most weekends exploring the Hertfordshire countryside on her horse Django. When not spending the weekend with Django, Rosalie enjoys travelling to new places.
