Since beginning his training, Conor has gained experience in a range of areas, particularly within prosecution and drafting. He qualified as a European and UK patent attorney in 2023.
He has significant experience in portfolio management, having been the primary contact for a large manufacturing company. He advises on filing strategy, portfolio development, and creating patent pools for new technology.
Conor is an electronic engineer, and his experience primarily relates to electronics and software-related inventions. He has worked on a range of technologies, including medical and security software, electronic power, and communication systems. He also has experience drafting and prosecuting patents in AI and quantum-computing-related fields.
He holds a master’s in electronic engineering from Durham University. During his degree, he worked with a prominent UK-based power tools company to produce a system for battery monitoring of their products.
Conor works with clients of all sizes and enjoys managing large patent portfolios for multi-national firms. He also has experience working with solo inventors and SMEs, and appreciates being able to provide a more hands-on approach with advice that can make a big difference to his clients and their development.
