{"id":5431,"date":"2023-02-16T09:23:49","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T09:23:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forresters-ip.com\/forresters-supports-tbat-2023\/"},"modified":"2025-02-14T10:08:04","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T10:08:04","slug":"forresters-supports-tbat-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forresters-ip.com\/de\/forresters-supports-tbat-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Forresters supports The Innovation Challenge with TBAT Innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forresters is proud to partner with TBAT Innovation for The Innovation Challenge, an initiative designed to stimulate and support innovation in small to medium enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A key element of The Innovation Challenge are workshops intended to provide support to growing companies focusing on four key areas; Finance, People and Recruitment, Product Design and Protection, and Business Strategy and Marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attorneys from our Birmingham office, Partner&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forresters-ip.com\/de\/people\/dr-jagvir-purewal\/\">Dr Jagvir Purewal<\/a>&nbsp;and Senior Associate&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forresters-ip.com\/de\/people\/greg-smith\/\">Greg Smith<\/a>, will be presenting IP content as part of the Product Development and Protection workshop on 25 May. This workshop is intended to provide advice and guidance to participants on their IP rights, licensing their products and supporting their journey to commercialisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Jagvir Purewal said: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to be supporting The Innovation Challenge for a second consecutive year. We had the privilege of helping a range of businesses explore IP during last year\u2019s workshop, and we look forward to sharing our knowledge and discussing exciting new ideas again this year.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Senior Associate Greg Smith added: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IP can be a difficult area for growing companies to understand. With a wealth of combined experience, we at Forresters are keen to help businesses develop their understanding of IP and take steps to protect their innovations as they grow.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the workshops, The Innovation Challenge allows businesses to submit a full business plan, with the chance to win a prize package including \u00a35,000 and a business support package tailored to their needs. Two runners-up will also receive a tailored support package from key partners involved in The Innovation Challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Innovation Challenge will culminate in a final event in October, where the winning business and runners-up will be announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TBAT\u2019s workshops are free to attend, and do not require entry into The Innovation Challenge.
