The session will also help to guide businesses looking to commercialise their IP, including searching for existing IP rights, as well as the potential risks involved in pursuing IP protection, and how to overcome them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course will be of particular interest to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), who are sure to develop a better understanding of how to maximise their creative assets and innovations. The session can also help larger corporations to develop an \u201cIP Champion\u201d for their business, gaining an insight into the opportunities already available to them with their existing IP and how to make better use of future innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course is also CPD accredited, so is a great opportunity for professionals to log essential training hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ahead of the session, Jagvir told us:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking forward to assisting SMEs in the West Midlands during this session, helping them to recognise the value of their businesses\u2019 intellectual property. IP can often be a business\u2019 most valuable asset and so it\u2019s vitally important to protect it. We\u2019ll be providing a general overview of IP, as well as discussing common pitfalls, and the solutions to these issues, to ensure the attendees can gain valuable insights which they can apply to their businesses.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This session is part of a two-day, non-residential course, held in central Birmingham.
