Forresters is pleased to be taking part in the Product Development &amp; Protection workshop and is also acting as the workshop\u2019s sponsor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This workshop is intended to provide advice and guidance to TBAT\u2019s partner network on how to design effective products and services, as well as how to obtain protection for their innovations and ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forresters will provide a unique insight into the importance of protecting intellectual property, and how to effectively commercialise patents, trade marks and designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt is a privilege to be sponsoring TBAT\u2019s Innovation Challenge for a third consecutive year,\u201d said Partner\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forresters-ip.com\/people\/dr-jagvir-purewal\/\">Jagvir Purewal<\/a>, who will be presenting at the workshop. \u201cDiscussing protection at last year\u2019s workshop with a group of passionate entrepreneurs and business owners was a truly rewarding experience, and we\u2019re glad to have helped the winners with IP advice as part of their winning prize package. We look forward to the exciting discussions that are sure to follow at this year\u2019s event.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Senior Associate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forresters-ip.com\/people\/greg-smith\/\">Greg Smith<\/a>\u00a0added: \u201cWe are excited to be working alongside TBAT for the TBAT Innovation Challenge again this year and always enjoy helping businesses navigate the complex world of IP on their paths to commercialising their innovations. The Innovation Challenge workshops provide fantastic introductions to key topics that should be considered by businesses on their commercialisation pathways, ranging from obtaining funding to product design and IP.\u00a0 Therefore, the workshops are a great way for SMEs to develop their understanding of these topics, ask those all-important questions, and to have someone with which they can follow up. It is great to be able to offer our expertise and share knowledge with the wider business community again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 26<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;June \u2013 18<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;August, businesses participating in The Innovation Challenge will also be able to submit a full business plan for the chance to win some incredible prizes, including a \u00a35,000 cash prize and a business support package. Two runners-up will also receive a tailored support package from key partners involved in The Innovation Challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Innovation Challenge will culminate in a final event in October, where the winning business and runners-up will be announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TBAT\u2019s workshops are free to attend and do not require entry into The Innovation Challenge.
