Trade Mark Renewals Administrator

We have a strong trade mark team with a proactive approach to portfolio protection and maintenance, with expertise in all areas. We handle all aspects of establishment, use, registration, maintenance and enforcement of trade marks.
We are currently looking to recruit a TM Renewals support staff to join the Renewals team. Depending on experience, the successful candidate will also provide ad-hoc paralegal support service to the Trade Mark fee earners across all Forresters offices. Primary duties in this role include:
- Dealing with all aspects of TM renewals – sending reminders, obtaining quotes, dealing with client queries
- Paying renewals to IPOs and instructing local agents
- Obtaining documents necessary for the TM renewals process
- Dealing with Declaration of Use; preparing use evidence and supporting documents
- Handling recordals, changes of name, mergers, reclassifications and changes of client/representative
- Handling invoicing and any other billing matters relating to renewals
- Dealing with some aspects for patent renewals
- General duties commensurate with position

The ideal candidate will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and have proven organisational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. You will possess a commitment to quality and attention to detail. A high level of accuracy is essential.
Ideally, candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and be proactive and cooperative with a flexible approach to covering various tasks as needs dictate.
